I hold a Master of Arts in Counseling and Human Services and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) #0021534, National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner candidate, advanced (SEPc). I have completed the 3 year Somatic Experiencing International (SEI) training for trauma therapy, the B.L.U.E. Method Somatic Processing Training and have served as a Counselor since 2007.

With 25 years experience working with alcohol and drug afflicted/addicted individuals, 20 years of experience as a licensed School Counselor and Teacher and certifications as a Yoga and Spinning Instructor, I have served a diverse population of individuals. Additionally, I have trainings in Authentic Relations, Psych-K and Choice Theory and have served as a panelist for the (Somatic Experiencing International) SEI Community Conversations.

Outside of my experience in counseling and education, I was a swimmer at the Olympic Training Center, Radio Disc Jockey for an affiliated NPR station, bicycle mechanic and small business owner. In my spare time I enjoy practicing yoga, meditating, cooking, reading, and being with my friends and family.
